Clearer date attributes
Currently all date attributes have the possibility to specify a range of dates with optional exact start and end time. This is good in timeline and calendar views to visualize the time spans of different tasks. However, there is no way to filter based on this whole period. Automatic reminders and KQL queries only take into account the end of the specified time span and so only this will be the true due date or deadline. The current workaround is rather clumsy - I have to have one date range to visualize the period as well as get actual deadlines and another fixed date to function as the start date for filtering and starting reminder purposes.
Please make it possible to refer to the start date of this range as well as the entire range. For example, I'd like to filter cards based on whether the time span has started as of now. Something like "{Due Date}=today" only returns cards which have the end day of the Due Date today, disregarding those that might already have started. Also the entire range length could be an useful variable to search when wanting to uncover bigger/longer tasks etc.
Hi,
You can already access the start date in KQL queries!
For example, with an attribute called Due Date, the syntax is “{Due Date:start}”.
