  1. Calendar view of parent board shows subtask scheduling?

    I've set up a few sub-boards to my parent board and given tasks on the subs due dates. When I click the calendar in the parent board these are not showing on the calendar. It'd be great to be able to see all tasks/subtasks schedule on one calendar. Is this already doable?

  2. Add a Unified Board

    I imported my Trello boards which I've barely used but now feel inspired to make more use of. However, I am inclined to stay with Trello for now because it has apps for iPhone and iPad, but what would be really useful is a unified board. I could then see tasks from all projects for Today, This Week etc...

    This unified board would contain the default cards but which could be renamed. The intro video features To Do, Doing, and Done, I much prefer the Trello default cards of Backlog, This Week, Today, Evaluate and Done.

  3. Easily add description to new card

    When creating a card that needs a more detailed description, the workflow is not very smooth. The two ways I have found to do this are:

    Mouse based:
    1. Click the + button to create a new card
    2. Type out a title
    3. Click 'Save' / press 'Enter'
    4. Click the newly created card
    5. Click the small 'Click to add description'

    Keyboard based:
    1. 'c' to create a card
    2. Type out a title
    3. Press 'Enter'
    4. Press 'Esc' to stop adding another card

  4. Drop cards into cards

    You could lift a card and drop it into another card. You might need to set a default lane for it to fall into like "backlog." It would be great if I could drag a card from a sub board into my "ready" column on my parent board.

  6. Card Improvements

    Hello,

    I experienced some details experiences inside card to be improved :

    ACTIVITY

    I still do not understand why do you (all) maintain the Activity tab displaying by default inside the card. This a very annoying and irrelevant feature that we don't absolutely need to know what everybody is doing in a card. As a matter of fact, you give this feature in the History sidebar, which is largely sufficient.

    So could you please, let us the choice to enable / disable this feature? Yes, I see it doesn't show all the feed, but it still annoying to see it…

  7. Allow one time "sorting" within columns

    I'd like to be able to sort the list items one off from time to time with the following criteria:

    - Move completed to bottom
    - Sort Alphabetically

    I understand they are manually sorted now. So these aren't live updating sorts, just a "re-sort" kind of option.

  8. Integrate with Omnifocus

    I like using Kantree to manage project level stuff. It would be great to be able to drag a Kantree item into an omnifocus list. You can already drag an Omnifocus item into Kandree: Kudos for that!

  9. Burndown within a certain date range

    It would be great for our projectsto have a good burndown Display.
    For this, we would like to define a date range and use
    * A Group type (Context etc.) as group
    * A Group Feature OR a build-in state for counting
    * A number field for Story Points.

    The Burndown could take all available Points from the number field at the given date, set up the date axis to the difference of the end and start date and Show the Burn Down...

  11. Selecting various cards on various columns

    I've stumbled on something very annoying: the inability to select various cards at once to, then, apply an action. I'll give an example:
    Let's say that I want to delete 7 cards that are spread on various columns: there's no way to delete them all at once! I've considered to:

    - Create a temporary column (list), put all the cards there, then delete the column. However, the column is deleted and the cards appear out of any list, meaning that, in any way, I'll have to delete them one-by-one.

  12. Provide option to create cards on github as issues

    Please could we have this? It is quite frustrating to be creating cards to then realize the correspondent issues are not being created on github

  13. Reorder sub-cards

    In the card edit popup, the sub-card list should have a drag handle for manuel reordering. This makes planning/brainstorming much easier.

  14. Progress

    An idea would be to do something like daily snapshots and then be able to compare what changed between them.

    For instance, if I have 8 team members and 40 tasks distributed across the entire board then this snapshots feature would maybe highlight only the tasks that were changed from one day to the other.

    BTW, to be able to see commits is really great, are you thinking of adding other services (like bitbucket for example)?

  15. option to print all cards in a group

    I set up a project for remodeling a newly purchased home, and shared the project with my contractor. He mentioned that the ability to print all cards in a particular group (e.g. electrical, plumbing) would be beneficial since some of his employees don't have smart phones.

  17. More complex recurring card repeat options

    It would be great if in addition to the current schemes (daily, weekly, monthly) you could also create repeats every x weeks or y months. These would be a bare minimum to support rather common requirements like biweekly, bimonthly, quarterly and yearly repeats. If you want to go crazy, I could also use things like "every last/first/n-th (week)day/thursday/...", "every 10 days" etc. Surprisingly few todo/project management apps support anything like this, so it could be another differentiator why Kantree is superior :)

  19. Epic-Oriented Timeline view

    Having an Epic-Oriented timeline view (with "sub-timelines" containing Epic's cards) would be useful for planning macros and products' roadmaps.

    This would reduce the need to specify every Epic's task at early project stages when designing a roadmap.

  20. Save email attachments to card

    When creating a task by forwarding an email to Kantree, the attachments are lost. It would be very important, that all email attachments would be saved to the card.
