Calendar view of parent board shows subtask scheduling?
I've set up a few sub-boards to my parent board and given tasks on the subs due dates. When I click the calendar in the parent board these are not showing on the calendar. It'd be great to be able to see all tasks/subtasks schedule on one calendar. Is this already doable?
35 votesGreat suggestion, it would make the calendar view far more useful. It will require a major overhaul of the calendar view though.

Add a Unified Board
I imported my Trello boards which I've barely used but now feel inspired to make more use of. However, I am inclined to stay with Trello for now because it has apps for iPhone and iPad, but what would be really useful is a unified board. I could then see tasks from all projects for Today, This Week etc...
This unified board would contain the default cards but which could be renamed. The intro video features To Do, Doing, and Done, I much prefer the Trello default cards of Backlog, This Week, Today, Evaluate and Done.

Sub-tasks inherit attributes
Sub-tasks auto assign / inherit attributes, assignee's from parent card.

Calendar View: start the week on Monday
Currently, all calendar views start the week with Sunday. In Europe, this is counter-intuitive and may lead to items being created on the wrong day.
Can you add an option to start the week on Monday? Office365 and other applications provide that feature to service different regions.

Easily add description to new card
When creating a card that needs a more detailed description, the workflow is not very smooth. The two ways I have found to do this are:
Mouse based:
1. Click the + button to create a new card
2. Type out a title
3. Click 'Save' / press 'Enter'
4. Click the newly created card
5. Click the small 'Click to add description'Keyboard based:
1. 'c' to create a card
2. Type out a title
3. Press 'Enter'
4. Press 'Esc' to stop adding another card

Drop cards into cards
You could lift a card and drop it into another card. You might need to set a default lane for it to fall into like "backlog." It would be great if I could drag a card from a sub board into my "ready" column on my parent board.

Create a Program View
Create a Program View of different Projects that are part of a program. With Project Owner, Status, Possible Risks or Red Flags, % Completed / Total Number of Cards / Number of Cards Completed, Timeline or Expected completion date. Probably be able to use the reports to view a dashboard and health of the program and projects within the program.

Card Improvements
Hello,
I experienced some details experiences inside card to be improved :
ACTIVITY
I still do not understand why do you (all) maintain the Activity tab displaying by default inside the card. This a very annoying and irrelevant feature that we don't absolutely need to know what everybody is doing in a card. As a matter of fact, you give this feature in the History sidebar, which is largely sufficient.
So could you please, let us the choice to enable / disable this feature? Yes, I see it doesn't show all the feed, but it still annoying to see it…

More complex recurring card repeat options
It would be great if in addition to the current schemes (daily, weekly, monthly) you could also create repeats every x weeks or y months. These would be a bare minimum to support rather common requirements like biweekly, bimonthly, quarterly and yearly repeats. If you want to go crazy, I could also use things like "every last/first/n-th (week)day/thursday/...", "every 10 days" etc. Surprisingly few todo/project management apps support anything like this, so it could be another differentiator why Kantree is superior :)

Burndown within a certain date range
It would be great for our projectsto have a good burndown Display.
For this, we would like to define a date range and use
* A Group type (Context etc.) as group
* A Group Feature OR a build-in state for counting
* A number field for Story Points.The Burndown could take all available Points from the number field at the given date, set up the date axis to the difference of the end and start date and Show the Burn Down...

Allow one time "sorting" within columns
I'd like to be able to sort the list items one off from time to time with the following criteria:
- Move completed to bottom
- Sort Alphabetically
I understand they are manually sorted now. So these aren't live updating sorts, just a "re-sort" kind of option.

Integrate with Omnifocus
I like using Kantree to manage project level stuff. It would be great to be able to drag a Kantree item into an omnifocus list. You can already drag an Omnifocus item into Kandree: Kudos for that!

Selecting various cards on various columns
I've stumbled on something very annoying: the inability to select various cards at once to, then, apply an action. I'll give an example:
Let's say that I want to delete 7 cards that are spread on various columns: there's no way to delete them all at once! I've considered to:- Create a temporary column (list), put all the cards there, then delete the column. However, the column is deleted and the cards appear out of any list, meaning that, in any way, I'll have to delete them one-by-one.

Please could we have this? It is quite frustrating to be creating cards to then realize the correspondent issues are not being created on github

Reorder sub-cards
In the card edit popup, the sub-card list should have a drag handle for manuel reordering. This makes planning/brainstorming much easier.

Save email attachments to card
When creating a task by forwarding an email to Kantree, the attachments are lost. It would be very important, that all email attachments would be saved to the card.

option to print all cards in a group
I set up a project for remodeling a newly purchased home, and shared the project with my contractor. He mentioned that the ability to print all cards in a particular group (e.g. electrical, plumbing) would be beneficial since some of his employees don't have smart phones.

Améliorer la partie Rapports
Bonjour,
Je pense qu'il serait interessant d'améliorer la partie rapport. Je développe les idées suivantes :
Pouvoir réaliser un export de type PDF ou Image du rapport pour pouvoir l'utiliser sur un powerpoint ou un document
pouvoir bouger / voir supprimer certains des elements graphiques qui ne nous interessent pas
ne pas pas voir les observateurs du projet dans des graphiques de répartition des missions aux assignées de cartes

Kantree est un super outil une fois que l'on utilise un peu le KQL :D

Nous allons voir ce qu’il est possible de faire.
- Pour l’export sous format image, nous encourageons généralement l’utilisateur à utiliser son logiciel de capture d’écran préféré, mais nous réfléchissons à comment en incorporer un directement dans Kantree.
- Pouvez-vous expliciter un peu plus à quels éléments graphiques vous faites référence, lorsque vous parlez de les déplacer et supprimer ? Tous les widgets peuvent normalement être déplacés et supprimés sur un rapport.
- On pourrait imaginer avoir une option permettant de ne pas prendre en compte certains roles du projet.
